“Secret of Moonlight” is an interactive dance environment created based on the Safe Place concept — a supportive and secure space where every child can feel free to be themselves.
This is not only a performance for children with autism and other neurodivergent conditions, but an open and welcoming experience for all children, regardless of their needs, age, or background. Each child can find their own way to feel, explore, and engage.
In this space, children are not asked to adapt — the environment gently adapts to them. Soft lighting, calm sounds, and a slow, flexible rhythm create an atmosphere without pressure or overload, offering safety, trust, and acceptance.
The performance unfolds as a journey through three sensory worlds: visual, tactile, and sound. Children are free to move, explore, play with objects, express emotions, or simply observe. Each participant chooses their own level of involvement and pace.
Live music inspired by natural sounds enhances the atmosphere, supporting a sense of calm and immersion. Movement, light, textures, and sound become a shared language — non-verbal, yet deeply expressive and emotional.
This is not a traditional performance, but an experience — quiet, physical, and attentive to each individual. The focus is not on narrative, but on sensation: touch, rhythm, light, and presence.
Parents and caregivers become an important part of the experience, supporting the child and helping them feel safe and confident. It is a space for shared time without pressure — at a pace that works for the whole family.
Developed in collaboration with specialists in inclusion and child development, the project responds to a growing need to make art truly accessible.
“Secret of Moonlight” is a space where every child is accepted, seen, and free — where art becomes support, connection, and a quiet joy of simply being.
Performance duration: 45 minutes + 15 minutes of open exploration time on stage
